I have always been passionate about music, whether it is mine or done by someone else. This crazy obsession started when I was just a kid and saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. At that same time, my father purchased one of the very first commercially available reel to reel tape machines and was constantly playing tapes of the great jazz masters while my mother would be singing away to the music she loved, show tunes. It seemed that music was always being listened to somewhere in our house.

This exposure to these two very different types of music so early in my life sparked a fire that has never burned out.  To that end, it has only glowed brighter as I began to play, write and then finally produce my own music. My tastes in music over the years have become even more varied and have continued to evolve. Besides the Rock / Pop music that I am still grooving too, I now enjoy Bluegrass, Classical, Country, New Age / World Music, Rock-a-Billy, and many other types of music as well.

On these pages I will share with you not only my music, but introduce you to my friends and fellow musicians that I have recorded with and produced in my studio "Leaping Lizards Project Recording Studio", jammed with, or just enjoying listening too.

I would also like to give thanks and recognition on my various pages to my parents, Joan & Dave Ulmer; my daughter, Michelle (I love you guys, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!); and "the Greg's", Greg Schramm and Greg Renzenbrink. Without their help, support, and in the case of my daughter and parents, love, none of this would be happening for me!
